Hezbollah issued on Thursday a statement in which the Resistance Party offered deep condolences on the martyrdom of the Palestinian cancer-stricken prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid to his family, resistance brethren and all the Palestinian people, asking Holy God to grant a speedy release to his four detained brothers and all the prisoners jailed by the Israeli occupation and its collaborators.
“The martyrdom of the resistance fighter Abu Hamid in the prisons of the enemy as a result of deliberate medical neglect of his health condition as well as the arbitrary and unjust practices of the occupation authorities against the honorable resistance fighters requires launching the broadest campaign of solidarity with these living martyrs and voicing loudly in all humanitarian, human rights and international forums the call to force the enemy to stop its assaults on the prisoners and provide the sick ones with the necessary medicines and medical supplies, especially those with incurable diseases,” the statement added.
Hezbollah indicated that the Israeli enemy’s decision to detain the body of the captive martyr, Nasser Abu Hamid, is a crime diligently committed and an affirmation of the Zionist entity’s brutality, terror, and distance from all moral and human values.
As Hezbollah condemns and denounces this criminal act, it believes that the arms of the brave resistance fighters are capable, God willing, of liberating all prisoners as well as detainees and punishing the enemy for its assaults and crimes, the statement concluded.
