Hezbollah represents the main danger which threatens the Israeli navy, according to the brigade’s commander general David Saar who added that the party possesses major marine capabilities in light of 2006 war experience of striking Saar 5 Zionist warship.
The Israeli military officer said that Hezbollah has developed the quality and the quantity of his anti-ship missiles, pointing that the Islamic Resistance has almost become an official army whose threats must not be disregarded.
The Zionist general also warned that Hezbollah may possess, in addition to the rockets, other naval capabilities, considering that when the party’s Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah threatens to occupy Galilee, it is possible that his fighters use the sea in order to carry out the mission.
Saar also tackled Hezbollah threat to bombard the Zionist marine oil platforms, stressing that Hezbollah has the required determination and ability to strike the Israeli seashore petroleum facilities.
