The Zionist reservist General Isaac Brick warned on Thursday from the negative repercussions of the Israeli policy admitted by the political as well as military command and based on relying on the Air Force and ignoring the role of the infantry.
In an article, Brick said that the recent military confrontations with Hamas and the Islamic Jihad have reduced the Israeli ground force and inflicted economic and social losses upon the Zionist settlements.
Brick accused the political and military command of abandoning the ground forces in order to avoid the human losses, adding that this made Hamas and Islamic Jihad feel that they are facing a weak army which lacks the audacity to launch a ground attack.
“This has raised Hamas and Islamic Jihad morale and reinforced their work motivation.”
The Zionist General recalled 2021 aggression on Gaza when the Israeli occupation forces failed to advance for few meters in the blockaded Strip, highlighting the materialistic losses caused by the Palestinian missile fire across the settlements.
“Had the Zionist command followed this policy during the patst wars, ‘Israel’ would have reached demise. If the command will keep adopting this policy, ‘Israel’ may never survive,” Brick concluded.
