Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Tuesday welcomed an Iraqi delegation headed by Iraqi Prime Minister’s advisor, Alaa Abdul-Hussein Al-Saadi.
The meeting discussed the Iraqi government’s decision to extend the fuel contract signed with Lebanon, and the activation and development of bilateral agreements signed between the two countries, especially in the fields of agriculture, health, education, and oil.
The meeting also discussed the means of boosting cooperation on a larger scale with the private Lebanese sector by encouraging the Iraqi chambers of commerce to buy Lebanese agricultural and industrial products.
