The Iranian embassy in Beirut marked the fortieth anniversary of the crime of kidnapping four Iranian diplomats at Al-Barbara checkpoint which belongs to the Lebanese Forces militia.

Since the kidnap crime, the destiny of the four Iranian diplomats is still unknown.

The Iranian ambassador called on the Lebanese government to keep prioritizing the cause of the four diplomats, holding the Zionist entity responsible for the crime, adding that the culprits will remain stigmatized.

The ceremony was attended by a number of Lebanese and Palestinian politicians as orators called on Lebanon’s authorities to reveal the destiny of the four Iranian diplomats in order to maintain the Lebanese reputation and relation with Islamic Republic.
