The Zionist enemy sped up its steps of extracting gas from Karish field which lies in the disputable maritime zone on border between Lebanon and occupied Palestine.
The Israeli enemy attributed that move to Tel Aviv’s intention to utilize Europe’s need for gas amid the Ukrainian crisis.
According to the Zionist media, the Israeli entity will export gas to Europe via the Egyptian territory, adding that it rely mainly on Karish field in order to provide the needed amounts.
Karish is an offshore gas field that lies on the maritime border between Lebanon and occupied Palestine. Thus around half of the field lies within the Lebanese international waters.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese authorities are supposed to utilize the Israeli and European need for this gas in order to impose its conditions on the American mediator.
