Director General of Lebanon’s General Security, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, met on Monday with the Head of the US delegation tasked to hold indirect negotiations to demarcate Lebanon’s maritime borders, Amos Hochstein, in Beirut.

General Ibrahim said that the meet Hochstein was positive, telling Al-Manar that the US envoy will learn about Lebanon’s unified stance pertaining the maritime border issue during his meeting with President Michel Aoun.

Hochstein had arrived in Beirut to meet Lebanon’s senior officials in the context of the US mediation pertaining the maritime dispute between Lebanon and the Zionist enemy.
