Hezbollah and Amal Movement issued on Wednesday a joint statement which called on the supporters to avoid organizing motorcycle rallies to celebrate the election victory in order to prevent the opponents from troubling the achievement.
The statement also called on the supporters to shun carrying out acts that provoke the feelings of the other parties’ followers, stressing that everyone must resort to the logic of dialogue.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah and Amal Movement urged the security forces to arrest all who opened fire to celebrate the election victory in order to protect the civil peace.
On May 15, Lebanon witnessed a parliamentary elections which synchronized with an unprecedented crisis caused by the US-backed siege and corruption. Despite the US scheme, the Resistance alliance managed to emerge victorious. Hezbollah and Amal Movement swept all the Shiite seats in the parliament.
