According to Czech media, hundreds protested against military aid to Ukraine in Prague.
A demonstration was held in Republic Square (Namesti Republiky) in the capital.
According to Novinky news, Hynek Blasko, a member of the European Parliament from the Czech right-wing Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) Party participated as well.
Blasko addressed the crowd of nearly 500 protesters and declared that the government must be forced “to stop sending arms to Ukraine.”
Blasko and other participants of the rally accused the Czech government of withholding information about the events in Ukraine. They also voiced their displeasure with the EU and NATO’s unwillingness to conduct security assurances negotiations.
