The Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Al-Mikdad told Al-Manar Website on Wednesday that the West must be held responsible for elongating the war in Ukraine, adding that the continuation of battle will lead to more crimes and economic losses.

Al-Mikdad hoped that no more countries get involved in the war, adding that if this happens, the world populations are o face the challenge.

Meanwhile, Al-Mikdad indicated that the US military presence in eastern Syria aims at elongating the terrorist war just as the Turkish occupation in the North does.

The Turkish and American occupation forces are in Syria to kill its people and plunder its resources, Al-Mikdad said.
