The department of Islamic Endowments in Palestine confirmed that 2016 recorded the highest number of Zionist incursions into Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque in comparison with the past years.

The spokesman of the department Firas Al-Dibs said that 14806 Zionist settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in 2016, adding that in October 2856 extremists raided the holy shrine.

Al-Dibs pointed out that the Zionist violations also included assaulting and arresting the department’s employees and the Shrine’s guards, adding that the Israeli police have continued banning a group of Palestinian men and women from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque.
