Oil prices have slightly dropped in Lebanon on Friday with an official attributing the decline to the decrease in the US dollar exchange rate.
Lebanese media reported that the price of the cans of gasoline (95 octanes and 98 octanes) have deceased by LBP 2200.
The price of can of gasoline (95 octanes) reached LBP 375600, while the price of can of gasoline (98 octanes) reached LBP 388400.
The price of diesel has decreased by LBP 11600 to LBP 398400, while the price of the gas cylinder reached LBP 349700.
For his part, Gas Station Owners’ Syndicate member George Brax said the drop in fuel prices today was caused by the decline in the US dollar exchange rate in the local markets.
“With regard to imported oil prices, no adjustment to prices has been observed,” Brax added in a statement.
