The Zionist Prime Minister Naftali Bennett started on Monday his first visit to UAE, meeting with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
Al-Nahyan received Bennett at his private palace, Israeli officials said, following the PM’s arrival in the Emirati capital late on Sunday.
Bennett, who was expected to focus on trade links, according to his spokesperson, said his visit reflected a “new reality” for the region.
Media reports mentioned that trade deals were concluded and regional issues, including the Iranian nuclear deal, were raised during the Israeli premier’s visit to UAE.
It is worth noting that the Israeli circles have recently expressed concerns about the rapprochement between UAE and Iran, considering that it frustrates the Zionist scheme to establish an Israeli-Arab alliance against Tehran.
