Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc toured and inspected on Monday the area hit by fires in south Lebanon.
MPs Hussein Jishi and Hasan Ezzedine toured the areas inflicted by the fires during the weekend, including Al-Mansouri, Majdal Zon and Ramieh, Al-Manar reporter said.
They hailed volunteers of the Civil Defense of Islamic Health Society and Al-Risala Scouts Association for their tremendous efforts in saving the green areas in the region.
Jishi stressed the need to set a plan that include precautionary measures as well as measures on the spot in a bid to cope with similar incidents in the future.
“It’s not right to stay for the event to take place in order to move. There should be precautions in order to extinguish the fire before being expanded,” Jishi told residents in Majdal Zon.
For his part, Ezzedine called on the Lebanese government to compensate citizens whose properties were harmed by the fires.
“This area which confronts the Israeli enemy should get a special attention by the Lebanese government.”
