Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei praised martyrs as the big winners of the deal with Allah.
During the Martyrs of Zanjan Commemoration Ceremony on Thursday, Imam Khamenei described the deal with Allah as the best deal in the world.
His eminence underlined the position and role of Zanjan in the history of Iran, as well as the values of its martyrs, Iranian media reported.
Imam Khamenei said that martyrdom is the peak of glory.
“here is a point here that we should all pay attention to. The point is that martyrdom is a peak, and a peak is not meaningful without a hillside. Each peak has a hillside. Many of us wish to reach that peak, but we have to pass along the hillside.”
The leader, meanwhile, stressed importance of holding commemoration ceremonies for the martyrs and the need to be innovative in commemoration ceremonies.
“This commemoration of the martyrs and the work that is being done surrounding this issue should not be considered a normal, everyday deed.”
“You should come up with new ideas… Writing books, making films, and services that are rendered in the memory of martyrs are all good things.”
