Member of Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc, MP Hasan Fadlallah filed a lawsuit against the smugglers, price-manipulators and monopolists of the subsidized petroleum, pharmaceutical, and other vital products.

The suitcase was specifically filed the lawsuit before the Financial Public Prosecution against the firms which import the mentioned products and invest them illegally. This prevents the citizens from obtaining the subsidized products and wastes huge amounts of the public funds in this regard.

Due to the ongoing inflation crisis in Lebanon,l the government decided to subsidize the vital products. However, some importers monopolized and smuggled much amounts, selling the remaining amounts at higher prices in the market.
