The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Saturday its daily report in which it announced 580 new coronavirus cases, 560 of them for locals and 20 among the arrivals, raising total to 621735.
The report added that 16644 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 588577.
According to the report, 9 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 8277.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually.
