The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Thursday its daily report in which it announced 602 new coronavirus cases, 597 of them for locals and 5 among the arrivals, raising total to 620552.
The report added that 16209 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 585669.
According to the report, 7 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 8260.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually.
