The Lebanese minister of public works and transportation, Ali Hamieh, told Al-Manar on Thursday that importing the diesel oil is a sovereign decision driven by the keenness on the interests of Lebanon and all the Lebanese.

Hamieh added that the US siege on Lebanon has been broken and is now over.

Convoys carrying Iranian fuel entered the Lebanese territories on Thursday and arrived in Baalbek, breaking the US blockade on the country.
