The Lebanese President Michel Aoun indicated on Friday that he did not stake the blocking third in the government, highlighting the importance of the work and efficiency.
In light of the cabinet formation, President Aoun said, “This was the best possible choice.”
President Aoun also stressed that Lebanon will surpass the ongoing ordeal despite the financial crisis.
President Aoun and PM Najib Mikati signed, on Friday in presence of the House Speaker Nabih Berri, the decree of the cabinet formation after 13 months of governmental void and amid the exacerbating economic crisis.
