Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian woman at a checkpoint north of Al-Quds on Saturday, Palestinian and Israeli media reported.

Palestinian media reported that Ibtisam Kaabneh was martyred after being shot by occupied forces at the Qalandiya checkpoint, noting that occupation police prevented Palestinian Rec Crescent from reaching the checkpoint to offer aid for her.

Kaabneh, 28-year-old woman from Aqabat Jabr near the West Bank town of Jericho, was a former prisoner at Israeli jails where she spent 18 months between 2016 and 2017, according to local media.

Meanwhile, Israeli media claimed that Kaabneh was allegedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.
