Irina Tsukerman, a researcher at Begin-Sadat Center for Researcher Studies in Tel Aviv, considered in 2018 that anti-Hezbollah forces in the Arab world must counter the influence of the Resistance group by infusing development aid directly into the tribal areas and combating drug trafficking through specific, targeted means.
Tsukerman called for exploiting what she called as “existing divisions” between Shiites in Bekaa and those in the South, stressing that such non-military can defame Hezbollah.
As the US diplomat, Jeffrey Filtman, once stated that his administration paid 500 million dollars to disrepute Hezbollah, even drama has been employed to reach this target.
In this context, movie-series had been produced in order to show Hezbollah social incubation as drug dealers, illegitimate gunmen, and law-breakers.
So, the media warfare against Hezbollah aims to disrepute the Resistance group through means more wicked than weaponry. To confront this challenge, the Resistance community must be fortified by knowledge and awareness.
