Hezbollah offered condolences to Iraqi people over tragedy of Ibn Khatib hospital fire, which killed and injured dozens.
In statement released by Media Relations Office on Monday, Hezbollah condoled families of the victims, and asked Allah to grant them mercy, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
As Hezbollah sympathized with “the dear Iraqi brothers,” he voiced confidence that the “Iraqi government and active powers are capable of overcoming this ordeal.”
The Lebanese Resistance group also called on Iraqi to take this incident as an opportunity to strengthen national unity and work on solving economic and social crises in the country.
Earlier on Sunday, a fire sparked by an oxygen tank explosion killed at least 82 people and injured 110 at Ibn Khatib hospital in Baghdad that had been equipped to house COVID-19 patients.
