Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem welcomed Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in presence of the Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Khama Yar, and the accompanying entourage.

During the meeting, Sheikh Qassem stressed that proximity of the Islamic schools is a stark response to the advocates of discrimination, atonement and terrorism, adding that it frustrates the US-Israeli plots devised to fragment the Umma.

Sheikh Qassemi emphasized that Hezbollah Resistance identifies with the Islamic unity for the sake of liberating Palestine and sustaining the national independence.

Sheikh Qassem pointed out that Hezbollah would not give up on finding solutions for the governmental stalemate, underscoring the importance of the cabinet formation in coping with the economic crisis in Lebanon.
