The United Arab Emirates suspended preparations for a summit in which Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a Biden administration official and heads of the Arab states that normalized relations with ‘Israel’ last year were supposed to attend in April, the Yedioth Ahronoth daily reported on Thursday.
UAE Crown Prince Mohammad bin Zayed is outraged at what he sees as Netanyahu exploiting the normalization deal with ‘Israel’ as a part of his election campaign, the report added.
During one of his campaign rallies, Netanyahu said that the UAE plans to invest “tens of billions of dollars” in ‘Israel’, further claiming that he had received a guarantee from bin Zayed assuring the immediate investment of 10 billion dollars.
‘Israel’ and UAE signed in Washington on August 13, 2020, an agreement to normalize ties in the context of an American plot to mobilize the pro-US regimes in the Middle East in favor of the Zionist interests.
