After the Lebanese authorities refrained from funding the renewal of the contract with Syria to provide Tufail border village with the electric power due the considerations of the US sanctions, Hezbollah paid the bill worth 600 million Lebanese pounds.

Member of Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moussawi, led Hezbollah delegation to the village and reassured the locals that they would not suffer from darkness .

The locals thanked Hezbollah and greeted Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah for the financial help which enabled them to remain in their village and enjoy the basic life services.
