Hezbollah Lawyers Assembly filed a lawsuit in Beirut Court against the former Minister, Ashraf Rifi,over falsely accusing the party of being invlove din Beirut Port blast.
The complaint stressed that the offenses committed by Rifi included inciting sectarian strife, weakening the national sentiment , slandering and threatening civil peace.
Hezbollah had already filed lawsuit over the same considerations against Bahaa Hariri, Fares Soaid and the Lebanese Forces Website in the context of suing all those who falsely throw accusations against the party.
Two massive explosions rocked Beirut port on August 4, killing around 195 people and wounding more than 6000.
The blast also destroyed most of the port’s constructions and damaged a huge number of buildings in the capital and its suburbs.
