The Lebanese Military Tribunal, headed by General Mounir Shehade, sentenced the activist Kinda Al-Khatib to three years in prison with hard labor and stripped her of the civil rights over collaborating with the Israeli enemy.
The Military Tribunal convicted Al-Khatib of contacting Israeli spies, attempting to provide them with security data, and entering the Zionist-held territories.
The Military Investigative Judge “Najat Abu Shakra” had issued, on September 2, an indictment against the defendant, Kinda Al-Khatib, for committing the crime of espionage,communicating with Israelis” and collaborators with ‘Israel’ and providing security information about Lebanon in favor of foreign countries.
The Tribunal also sentenced, in absentia, Charbel Al-Hajj to 10 years in prison with hard labor, stripping him of his civil rights.
