US Ambassador to the United Nations Kelly Craft on Wednesday said that a new country will recognize the Zionist entity “in the next day or two.”
“Well, it could be today — there will be one in the next day or two,” Craft said in an interview with Saudi-owned Al Arabiya news channel.
Craft did not provide hints as to the nation’s identity, but said “we would welcome Saudi Arabia to be next.”
The foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain attended a White House ceremony last week as they became the third and fourth Arab countries to recognize the Zionist entity.
President Trump publicly said that he believes Saudi Arabia also will recognize ‘Israel’. He spoke this month on the phone with Saudi King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.
At last week’s ceremony celebrating Bahrain and the UAE recognizing Israel, Trump heralded “the dawn of a new Middle East” and said “these agreements will serve as the foundation for a ‘comprehensive peace’ across the entire region.”
