Hezbollah condemned on Thursday ISIL terrorist crime in the Iraqi city of al-Hilla which targeted the pilgrims returning from the holy shrines in Karbala and Najaf Al-Ashraf and claimed scores of martyrs and wounded.
In a statement, Hezbollah considered that the crime is a continuation of the terrorists’ murder plot which is detached from all the religious restraints and reflects the takfiri militants’ hatred that is disguised by false religious teachings.
“The terrorist groups are carrying out the revenge policies of some regional and international forces who were defeated by the will of the Iraqi’s and their guests from the other Arab and Islamic countries.”
Offering deep condolences to the families of the martyrs who were claimed by the blast, Hezbollah called for exerting more efforts to eradicate the terrorists, prevent them from achieving their despicable goals, and shatter their masters’ wishes by what preserves the Iraqis’ freedom, dignity, security and stability.
A suicide bombing claimed by the ISIL group killed around 70 people, mainly pilgrims, south of Baghdad Thursday.
