The Security Forces are currently on high alert in the grief-stricken town of Baakline, in the wake of last night’s bloody shooting spree which claimed the lives of nine of its locals.

The murderer, who has been identified as M.H., remains on the loose. He murdered all nine victims with a hunting rifle, starting with his wife, with whom he has two children.

After thorough investigations overnight, the security forces said that the assassin’s brother might be involved in the crime, as the latter’s car had appeared in a place near the crime scene.

The security forces, including the Lebanese army, internal security forces, intelligence, and state security, have endeavored, with the help of Baakline municipality and local community, to continue search for the criminal in the forests adjacent to the crime scene, and at a distance of approximately 20 square kilometers.

Police dogs have also been brought to the scene to hunt down the criminal(s), who currently remain out of sight.
