A 4.7 magnitude earthquake hit Lebanon at 10:40 am on Wednesday, following a sequence of tremors whose epicenter was located in the sea north the Syrian city of Latakia, as indicated by the National Center for Geophysics (CNG).
According to the CNG, nine quakes have been recorded since dawn.
The aftershock felt in Lebanon was mainly reported by locals in Keserwan, and Beirut and its suburbs.
