Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Tuesday that Moscow was ready to open a new page in ties weighed down by a raft of issues from arms control to Iran.
“I believe it’s time to start building a new, more responsible and constructive model of mutual perception of each other… We are ready for this,” Lavrov said in the southern Russian city of Sochi, where Washington’s top diplomat was also set to meet President Vladimir Putin.
