A Palestinian boy who was shot and seriously injured on Friday from Israeli army gunfire during protests at the Gaza border died on Monday of his wounds, according to medical sources.
Abdul Raouf Ismail Salha, 14, from Jabaliya, northern Gaza, was critically injured and remained in serious condition at hospital until he was pronounced dead on Monday, WAFA news agency reported.
He is the second fatality of the Friday protests. Amal Mustafa Taramsi, 43, from Gaza City, was also martyred during the protests.
The Great March of Return protests at the border between Gaza and the occupied territories began on March 30. Palestinian taking part in the protests demand that the 12-year long Israeli blockade on Gaza be lifted.
