The Syrian Army destroyed gatherings and fortifications of ISIS terrorists in Deir Ezzor city and the surrounding area, SANA reported Sunday.
“An Army unit on Sunday carried out a special operation against ISIS terrorists, destroying one of their barricades, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others on the southern outskirts of the city,” SANA reported.
“The Army artillery carried out intensive bombardments against hotbeds and positions of ISIS terrorists in the area of Al-Maqaber (cemeteries), Al-Maqabat, Ma’amel Al-Blouk , the surroundings of the airport, to the west of Talet Al-Snouf and in the neighborhoods of Al-Omal and Al-Matar Al-Qadim.

“Army units targeted ISIS terrorists’ gatherings and movement axes in Al-Mshairfeh Al-Janoubiyeh, Al-Talila reserve and on the direction of Arak in the eastern countryside of Homs,” the official Syrian news agency added, quoting a military source as saying that “the army inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorist organization, killing a number of its members and destroying their heavy machine gun-equipped vehicles.”
Hama
SANA further stated that “an army unit targeted ISIS terrorist groups’ movement axes in the villages of Qulaib Al-Thaor and Abu Hanaya, east of Salamiyeh city in the eastern countryside of Hama.”
