Lebanese army managed on Wednesday to arrest a terrorist cell involved in an attack on military post that killed a soldier and injured another earlier this week.
Al-Manar correspondent in north Lebanon reported that a force of army intelligence managed to arrest all members of the terrorist cell in a raid in Bqaa Sifrin, in the nortehr twon of Dinnieh, where the attack on an army post took place on Sunday night.
The correspondent said the raid was swift and surprising, adding that all the detainees are Lebanese terrorists belonging to Nusra Front Takfiri group.
During the raid, the Lebanese forces seized arms and ammunitions that included two machine guns used in Sunday attack, our correspondent said citing military analysis of the seized arms.
A Lebanese soldier was martyred and another was injured after militants opened fire on a military post in Bqaa Sifirn late on Sunday.
