An official Hezbollah delegation paid an emotional tribute to martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei in Tehran on Friday.
The footage shows the delegation lined in silence, heads bowed, before emotion overtook some officials who tried to contain their grief during the moment of respect as they stood before the flag-draped coffin.
The ceremony, marked by a heavy atmosphere, underscored the symbolic weight of the loss and the late Leader’s standing among oppressedp people of the world, especially the unwavering support to Palestine and Lebanon.
The delegation included Head of Hezbollah’s Arab and International Relations Ammar Al-Mousawi, Deputy Chairman of Hezbollah’s Political Council Mahmoud Qmati, former minister Mohammad Fneish MP Hasan Ezzidine, MP Ali Fayyad, as wll as prominent clerics and women officials.
Iran has launched the first phase of vast funeral ceremonies for the martyred Leader, with foreign dignitaries and religious figures converging on Tehran’s Grand Mosalla to pay tribute in a display of national unity and international solidarity.
