Imam Khamenei: Iranian Nation Won’t Back Down against Acts of Vandalism

Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei stressed that the Iranian nation won’t back down against acts of vandalism, adding that it does not tolerate being a mercenary for foreigners.

In a speech delivered by person at Imam the Imam Khomeini Husseiniyeh in Tehran, Imam Khamenei affirmed that the Iranian nation “does not tolerate being a mercenary for foreigners.”

His eminence urged Iranian youth to preserve national unity, stressing that a united nation can overcome any enemy.

“Whoever you think you are, once you become a foreign mercenary and work for foreigners, the nation will reject you, and the Islamic Republic will reject you as well, this is for the foreign backed rioters,” the Leader addressed rioters as saying.

Imam Khamenei dismissed recent remarks made by US President Donald Trump who claimed to stand with the Iranian people. His eminence said the US president must focus on the internal affairs and problems of his country.

“US’ hands are stained with the blood of over 1,000 Iranian leaders and innocent civilians,” the Leader said, referring to the 12-day US-Israeli war on the Islamic Republic.

“And that man who sits there with hatred and arrogance, passing judgment on the whole world… He should know that tyrants and arrogant powers throughout history, like the Pharaoh, Nimrod, Reza Khan, Mohammad Reza, and others like them, were overthrown when they were at the height of their pride. He too will be overthrown.”

“Iran is steadfast and will not back down from its principles. There are some rioters seeking to please the American president by damaging public property, and Iran will not tolerate foreign collaborators.”
