‘Path to Peace Passes Through Heart of War,’ Iran Lawmaker Warns

A senior Iranian parliamentary spokesman declared Monday that “the path to peace and stability passes through the heart of war,” warning that any miscalculation by the enemy would be met with a decisive response.

Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesman for the Iranian Parliament’s National Security Committee, said Iran’s armed forces have significantly strengthened their capabilities since the last lull in fighting. “We have addressed our weaknesses and losses,” he stated.

“We must not miscalculate,” Rezaei stressed. “If you are not prepared to respond decisively to the enemy, war will come knocking on your doors.”

He further announced that Iran’s military readiness has surpassed its level on February 27 a reference to previous exchanges with Israel  adding, “Today we are more prepared to respond than we were on February 27th, and we will not remain silent until the enemy regrets its actions and changes its mindset.”

Rezaei’s remarks come amid heightened regional tensions following Iran’s missile strikes on Israeli airbases and ongoing Israeli operations in Lebanon. His comments echo the Iranian leadership’s long-standing doctrine of active deterrence, framing military strength as the only guarantee of peace.
