The Israeli enemy is facing fierce resistance in the town of Zawtar al-Sharqiya, which has so far prevented it from gaining control of the area, Al-Manar’s correspondent reported.
He added that the resistance is actively targeting enemy positions in the southern and southeastern neighborhoods of Zawtar al-Sharqiya, as well as Israeli assembly points along the river and in the town of al-Qusayr.
According to the correspondent, the resistance is employing heavy and sophisticated missiles to strike enemy forces, particularly at their gathering points on the outskirts of the town.
He confirmed that the Israeli enemy failed yesterday to advance into the town, despite launching dozens of preliminary airstrikes on Zawtar al-Sharqiya and its surroundings.
Resistance fire continues to disrupt enemy soldiers and prevent them from establishing any foothold south of the town, he said.
