Leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah revolutionary movement Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi has cautioned that Muslim people’s neglect of Palestine is enabling Israeli expansionist agenda.
In a message on eve of Eid Al-Adha, Sayyed Al-Houthi offered his warmest greetings to Muslims worldwide on the occasion.
He described the Palestinian issue as a deep wound affecting the entire Muslim nation, stressing that the plight of Palestinians is not confined to one people or territory. Rather, it concerns all Muslims—whether in relation to the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque or the daily suffering of Palestinians, “who endure extreme forms of oppression by the Israeli enemy, including killings, hunger, forced displacement, violations of dignity, land confiscation, abductions, and torture.”
Sayyed Al-Houthi warned that Muslim inaction carries serious consequences.
“Whenever the Islamic nation neglects its responsibilities towards that,” he said, “it opens the door for the Zionist Jewish enemy to expand its aggression against it,” the statement read.
Sayyed Al-Houthi pointed to the Zionist entity’s declared ambitions as evidence, referring to a clearly articulated expansionist trend often framed under the notion of so-called “Greater Israel,” warning that such scheme targets the entire region and its peoples.
The term “Greater Israel” has re-emerged in Israeli political rhetoric in recent years. In August of last year, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Israeli media he felt a strong affinity with this “vision”, describing it as both a “historical and spiritual mission”. He referenced not only occupied Palestinian territories but also areas in neighboring countries including Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. His remarks prompted widespread condemnation across the region.
In this context, the leader of Ansarulla stressed that the Muslim nation must support the Palestinian people and Hezbollah resistance in Lebanon. He also held up Iran as a model in confronting aggression.
Muslims must provide “all kinds of support to the Palestinian people and its fighters, and to Hezbollah in Lebanon, which faces the Israeli aggression on Lebanon with all steadfastness, resilience, and effectiveness.”
The Islamic nation should “learn important lessons from the steadfastness of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Muslim Iranian people in facing the American Israeli aggression and confronting it with high effectiveness,” Sayyed Al-Houthi stated.

That example, he noted, should serve as “an incentive to strengthen Islamic brotherhood and enhance cooperation among the peoples of our nation.”
He affirmed, meanwhile, that Islamic brotherhood is “an obligation from the obligations of Islam and an important factor of strength” in confronting an enemy that targets everyone.
