The Israeli army radio reported that a Hezbollah gunman opened fire on the officer Tuesday morning in the Qouzah area of southern Lebanon, killing him instantly before withdrawing from the scene.
For its part, the Israeli “Kan Channel” stated that the shooting operation carried out by a Hezbollah member, in which an officer was killed, “occurred in an area only 2.5 km from the border,” noting that it is “an area under Israeli control.”
This comes as the Islamic resistance continues its operations against the Israeli occupation forces and their gatherings in southern Lebanon and northern occupied Palestine, with attack drones playing a prominent role, inflicting confirmed casualties on their ranks, while the Israeli “army” admits its inability to deal with them, as they impede its “freedom of action.”
