Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance in Lebanon carried out on Sunday a series of operations in response to the Israeli enemy’s ceasefire violations and strikes on civilians in southern Lebanese towns, affirming the actions were undertaken in defense of Lebanon and its people.
The group’s military media issued consecutive statements detailing the attacks and their outcomes.
The first statement reported that at 06:45 AM on Sunday, May 17, 2026, Hezbollah fighters directly hit an Israeli occupation army bulldozer in the town of Al-Bayyada with an attack drone.
The second statement mentioned that Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of vehicles and soldiers of the Israeli occupation army in the town of Rshaf with a rocket salvo at 11:00 AM on Sunday.
Between 10:00 and 10:20 AM, Hezbollah carried out a coordinated operation targeting an Israeli military vehicle in the town of Bayyada, which was struck in a flanking maneuver and set ablaze, while simultaneously hitting a gathering of Zionist soldiers inside a tent in the same area in a second flanking operation, with evacuation teams later observed transporting wounded personnel from the site, according to statements 3 and 4.
The group’s fifth statement reported that at 3:00 PM on Sunday, Hezbollah fighters targeted an artillery emplacement belonging to the Israeli occupation army in the town of Addaisseh with an attack drone and achieved a confirmed hit.
“While an Israeli occupation army force was attempting to advance into the Safita area in the vicinity of the town of Yohmor Al-Shaqif at 2:25 PM, Hezbollah fighters detonated an explosive device against the force, killing and wounding its members,” statement 6 read.

Between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation army troops in the Khallat Raj area of Deir Siryan with artillery fire and struck another concentration at the port of Naqoura using two drones, according to statements 7 and 8.
Earlier at 7:30 AM, Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation army soldiers in the town of Rashaf with four attack drones, as per the group’s ninth statement.
Statement 10 reported that at 3:15 PM Hezbollah fighters targeted Israeli occupation army jamming equipment in the town of Rshaf with an attack drone, achieving a confirmed hit.
