Hezbollah Issued on Saturday a statement which offered condolences on the martyrdom of the general commander of the Al-Qassam Martyrs Brigades, Commander Ezzeddine Al-Haddad, stressing that sacrifice brings dignity and denouncing the Zionist criminality.
What follows is the text of the statement:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
“Among the believers are men true to what they pledged to Allah. Among them are those who have fulfilled their vow, and among them are those who await, and they have never changed in the least.”
Allah Almighty is Truthful
Hezbollah strongly condemns the horrific crime committed by the Israeli enemy in the Gaza Strip, which led to the martyrdom of the General Commander of the Al-Qassam Martyrs Brigades, Commander Ezzeddine Al-Haddad “Abu Suhaib,” who was martyred alongside his wife, daughter, and a group of Palestinian civilians, in addition to dozens of innocent wounded victims, in the treacherous aggression that took place in central Gaza Strip. This constitutes a blatant violation of ceasefire agreements and reveals the extent of the enemy’s disregard for and betrayal of every pledge and agreement it makes. It further confirms that its thirst for bloodshed governs its mindset and behavior, and that all negotiations and agreements it signs are nothing but a waste of time.
As we mourn the heroic commander Al-Haddad as a dear martyr and express our pride and honor in the great sacrifices he offered on the path of jihad and resistance, we extend to the leadership of Hamas, the Palestinian people, the family of the martyred commander, and the families of the martyrs who ascended in this criminal aggression our warmest condolences and congratulations, asking Allah to grant them mercy and the highest ranks, and to bestow a speedy recovery upon the wounded.
The ascension of the martyred commander Al-Haddad is a new medal upon the chest of Hamas, which proves every time that it remains firmly rooted on the path of jihad and resistance. The assassination of leaders does not weaken it; rather, it increases its strength and presence and makes it more determined to persevere and confront.
The martyred mujahid Al-Haddad achieved what he had aspired to throughout his life, as Allah Almighty honored him and concluded his blessed life with martyrdom drenched in blood, just as every mujahid and resistance fighter in this nation wishes.
These great sacrifices offered and continuously offered by Hamas, all the mujahideen factions, and the great and heroic Palestinian people will bring nothing to the nation and to Palestine except one outcome: the outcome of dignity, victory, and honor, by Allah’s permission. He is the best Protector and the best Supporter.
