In related developments, the newspaper ‘Israel Hayom’ reported that Hezbollah launched rockets, mortars, and drones toward towns in northern Israel on Thursday morning, triggering sirens in several communities.
The Fire and Rescue Authority stated that a fire broke out after a rocket directly hit an open area, setting a vehicle on fire.
The media added that the morning sirens brought traffic to a standstill in an unusual scene that included documented aerial interceptions over the heads of settlers in the skies of northern Israel.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon said its operations come “within the framework of defending Lebanon and its people, and in response to the Israeli enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and the attacks that targeted villages in southern Lebanon, resulting in martyrs and a number of wounded among civilians, and in response to the violation of Lebanese airspace.”
