Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance in Lebanon said on Saturday it carried out an operation in response to the Israeli violation of the ceasefire and brutal strikes on civilians in the town of Yohmor al-Shaqif in southern Lebanon, affirming that the operation was conducted in defense of Lebanon and its people.
In a statement issued by its military media, the group said that at 15:00 Beirut time its fighters targeted a Nimera vehicle belonging to the Israeli army in the town of Qantara using an attack drone, reporting a confirmed hit.
In a related development, Israeli Army Radio reported that two drones were launched from Lebanon toward the Western Galilee, adding that one of them disappeared from radar.
