Hezbollah on Thursday unleashed a new wave of operations against the Israeli enemy, a day after it committed horrible massacres that resulted in martyrdom and injury of hundreds of citizens across Lebanon.
In a statement released early on Thursday, Hezbollah’s Military Media said the group’s Islamic Resistance fighters fired a salvo of rockets targeting the Israeli settlement of Menara.
“In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in direct response to the enemy’s violation of the ceasefire agreement—after the resistance fully adhered to its terms while the enemy persistently failed to do so—the Mujahideen (fighters) of the Islamic Resistance targeted the Menara settlement with a rocket barrage at 02:30 AM on Thursday, April 9, 2026,” the first statement on Thursday read.
“This response will continue unabated until the Israeli-American aggression against our country and our people comes to an end,” Thursday’s first statement added.
Later at 08:42, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a Namera vehicle in the town of Taybeh with a guided missile, scoring a direct hit, second statement released on Thursday mentioned.
Also in the border town of Tyabe, which was venue for epic clashes and ambush, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted an Israeli force positioned inside a house with an attack drone, achieving a direct hit at 08:45 on Thursday, according to a third statement.
Fourth, fifth and sixth statements mentioned that the Islamic Resistance fighters fired barrages of rockets at Kiryat Shmona (three times) and Metula Israeli settlements at 10:00, 10:50 and 11:30 on Thursday.
Later at 11:30, Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy army soldiers at the Marj site with a rocket barrage, according to the seventh statements.
Hezbollah Military Media, meanwhile, released a video of the Islamic Resistance striking Israeli enemy troop concentrations along the southern Lebanese border with a missile barrage.
The Israeli settlements of Kiryat Shmona and Metula were targeted anew at 12:00 on Thursday, the eighth statement mentioned.
Israeli media confirmed Kiryat Shmona was targeted repeatedly on Thursday, reporting that sirens sounded in the border Israeli settlement.
Israeli Channel 14 also reported a direct hit on a building in Kiryat Shmona.
Hezbollah Military Media’s ninth and tenth statements announced that the Islamic Resistance fighters fired barrages of rockets targeting the Avivim settlement and the Calf Hill site, north of the Kfar Yuval settlement. The two strikes took place at 12:00on Thursday, as provided by the statements.
Two rocket strikes were reported on Kiryat Shmona at 12:15 and 13:130, raising the number of strikes targeting the Israeli settlement to six so far on Thursday, eleventh and fourteenth statements mentioned.
At 13:00 on Thursday, the Islamic Resistance fighters fired successive barrages of rockets targeting the Israeli settlements of Shomera and Shlomi, twelfth and thirteenth statements read.
Statements 15 and 16 reported that Hezbollah fighters targeted the Israeli settlement of Avivim with a rocket barrage at 5:30 AM on Thursday and struck Kiryat Shmona for the seventh time with rocket barrages at 1:40 PM the same day.
Statement 17 reported that at 13:40 on Thursday, Hezbollah fighters targeted Israeli occupation army infrastructure in the settlement of Yesud HaMa’ala with a rocket barrage.
Statement 18 reported that Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the settlement of Misgav Am with a squadron of attack drones at 1:40 PM.
According to statement 19, Hezbollah fighters are engaged in close-quarters combat with light and medium weapons and rocket-propelled grenades against an Israeli armored force attempting to advance toward Bint Jbeil’s market, with clashes ongoing, while simultaneously targeting gatherings of Israeli vehicles and soldiers near the Moussa Abbas complex, the Liberation Triangle, and the vocational school with rocket barrages and artillery fire.
Statement 20 mentioned that at 12:30 Hezbollah fighters targeted an Israeli D9 military bulldozer with an attack drone.
According to Statement 21, Hezbollah fighters launched a second rocket barrage at the Manara Israeli settlement at 13:45.
“At 13:47 on Thursday, Hezbollah fighters targeted the Al-Assi Israeli site opposite the town of Mays Al-Jabal with a rocket salvo,” the group’s Military Media statement 22.

According to statement 23, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Kiryat Shmona settlement for the eighth time with a barrage of rockets.
According to statement 24, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Hounine barracks opposite the border town of Markaba.
According to statement 25, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 15:00 on Thursday 09-04-2026 a Merkava tank on the Taybeh–Deir Siryan road near the school with a loitering glider, achieving a direct hit.
According to statement 26, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 15:45 on Thursday 09-04-2026 Misgav Am settlement for the second time with a rocket barrage.
According to statement 27, | Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the settlement of Nahariya with a rocket barrage.
