Hezbollah’s Military Media Office paid tribute to journalists Ali Shoaib, Fatima Ftouni, and her brother, photographer Mohammad, following their martyrdom in a targeted assassination carried out by the Israeli army in southern Lebanon.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the office declared: “Figures like Hajj Ali, Fatima, and Mohammad are killed only in body; they immortalize an icon whose story is told through every victory they documented and every image they captured.”

Honoring a Legacy of Courage, Genuine Documentation

The statement lauded the courage and dedication of the martyred journalists, highlighting Hajj Ali Hassan Shuaib, a correspondent for Al-Manar TV, as “the brave journalist and the eye that has for years captured the dignity and triumph of the resistance.”

Fatima Ftouni, a seasoned correspondent for Al-Mayadeen TV, and her brother Mohammad, a photographer, were also honored for their steadfast commitment to reporting from the frontlines.

The Media Office underscored that the trio’s contributions transcend their deaths, immortalizing their work in the narratives of every victory achieved by the resistance, documented through both words and images.

Condolences and Prayer

The statement concluded with condolences to the families of the martyrs, as well as the teams at Al-Manar TV, Al-Mayadeen , Al-Nour Radio , and all media personnel affiliated with the resistance. It called upon God to “enfold the martyrs in His vast mercy and grant patience and solace to their loved ones.”

Citing the Quran, the office added a message of unwavering faith: “Those who convey Allah’s messages and fear Him and do not fear anyone but Allah.” — Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:39
