Three Martyrs as Israeli Enemy Strikes Eastern Lebanon, Proceeds Attacks in South

Two Lebanese citizens were martyred on Thursday in an Israeli strike on Hermel in eastern Lebanon as the Israeli enemy proceeded attacks in the country’s south in violation of the 2024 ceasefire.

Al-Manar correspondent in Bekaa reported Israeli drone strike that targeted a passenger van at Al-Nasiriya – Hosh Al-Sayyed Ali intersection in Hermel.

The strike led to martyrdom of two citizens, our reporter added.

Local media identified martyrs as Majed Qanso and Hussein Al-Jawhari.

Earlier on Thursday, an Israeli infantry forces infiltrated into the southern Lebanese border town of Kfar Kila and blew up a building in a neighborhood near the town’s municipality, according to AL-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon.

Elsewhere in the southern Lebanese border of Houla, Israeli gliders dropped a number of bombs causing damage to several cars in the town.

More Attacks

In another act of blatant aggression, Al-Manar’s correspondent in the south reported that a civilian was martyred in an Israeli drone strike on the road between the towns of Safad al-Battikh and Majdal Selem.

Later on Thursday, Al-Manar correspondent reported that Israeli occupation forces fired grenades at a house in the southern town of Blida, setting it ablaze

The attacks on Thursday come a day after the Israeli enemy launched series of strikes on several areas across south Lebanon on Wednesday.

The Israeli enemy continues to bomb Lebanon, mainly the country’s south, almost daily and maintains occupation over five posts along the southern border, in violation of a ceasefire deal reached following a brutal 66-day Israeli war between September and November 2024.

The Lebanese Health Ministry announced last month that the number of martyrs by Israeli attack since November 27, 2024, reached 335, noting that the number of injuries rose to 937.
