The Israeli aggression against Lebanon enters its third week amidst a continuation of the atrocities committed by the enemy against Lebanese civilians. These attacks have resulted in the deaths of over 850 martyrs and injuries to thousands more, as well as the displacement of approximately 830,000 people, according to official statistics. This is in addition to the widespread destruction in the southern suburbs of Beirut and various areas of southern Lebanon.
According to the latest data from the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, the cumulative death toll has reached 850, including at least 107 children, with 2,105 individuals wounded. The Disaster Risk Management Unit under the Prime Minister’s Office reported that the number of displaced persons registered has surpassed 831,000, with approximately 130,000 seeking refuge in 620 official shelters.
The aggression continued overnight as Israeli warplanes launched two airstrikes on the Haret Hreik area in Beirut’s southern suburbs just after midnight, igniting large fires and sending plumes of smoke over the capital. The raids came minutes after an Israeli occupation military spokesman announced the commencement of a “new aggression” on Beirut.

Footage on Monday showed firefighters from the Beirut Southern Suburbs Fire Brigade working to extinguish flames consuming the rubble of a collapsed residential building. After bringing the blaze under control, heavy machinery, including bulldozers, moved in to clear debris from the site, which had been repeatedly targeted in recent days.
Beyond the capital, a wave of strikes targeted multiple towns in southern Lebanon. Al-Manar’s correspondent reported that warplanes hit Sarbin, Bint Jbeil, Mayfadoun, and Taybeh. Enemy artillery shelled the outskirts of Dbeibine and areas surrounding the Khardali River. An Israeli armored unit was reported to have advanced from Wata al-Khiyam toward the eastern outskirts of Khiyam under the cover of artillery and airstrikes.
In the Nabatieh district, an airstrike on the Rahibat neighborhood killed seven civilians, including four children, and wounded five others. In Sidon, strikes on the Sharhabil and Hara Saida neighborhoods resulted in multiple civilian casualties, with initial reports indicating at least five dead and several wounded.
Additional raids targeted the towns of Majdal Selm, Aytit, Qatrani, Balja Yater, and Majdal Zoun. In Khiam, reports indicated the use of phosphorus bombs in a series of strikes that continued from Sunday night into Monday morning.
The humanitarian crisis has been compounded by severe weather. Beirut experienced a thunderstorm and torrential rains over the weekend, exacerbating the suffering of displaced families, particularly those residing in makeshift tents, as footage broadcast by local news agencies showed.
Despite the dire conditions, displaced individuals sheltering in schools and other facilities continue to voice support for the Islamic Resistance. Speaking to UNews Agency, displaced citizens expressed confidence in what they described as an imminent victory, affirming that the steadfastness of resistance fighters provides hope and resilience amid the ongoing aggression. They characterized the resistance as a source of national pride and the guarantor of the country’s protection and dignity.
The Israeli enemy has continued to issue evacuation warnings for several districts in Tyre, Zahrani, and residential neighborhoods in Beirut’s southern suburbs, prompting further waves of displacement from the south, the southern suburbs, and villages near Baalbek as the offensive enters its fourteenth consecutive day.
